What does a Overhead Installation involve?

Semi-detached and terraced properties require a different type of install using an Openreach telegraph pole (owned by BT). We install the fibre at the pole and run the cable overhead from the pole to the property (usually using the closest one).

We’ll drill a small hole (8-16mm) to attach an eyebolt to the wall, then clip the fibre cable down the wall to the entry point. Your engineer will always discuss with you the best place for the fibre cable to enter the property. We will then fit an external customer connection point (this is where the fibre connectors are stored), drill a small hole and feed the cable into the property.
