What does an underground installation involve?

For semi-detached and terraced properties we need to run our fibre cable underground from our splitter in the street to the property. We are permitted to use Openreach underground cable ducts (owned by BT) which will run directly to your property.

Before your installation, you may see Engineers running this cable to your property, but don't worry you don't need to be at home. They will then fit an external faceplate to the property where the cable exits the duct from underground. The position of this faceplate is dictated where this exit point is, so cannot be changed.

To see how we install full fibre broadband to your home you can watch our short video:

Once this has been completed Engineers will attend on the date and time you have booked with us to complete the in-home installation.
